Following yesterday's announcement, we're glad to

Following yesterday's announcement, we're glad to say that the Shaftesbury Market is currently continuing with essential stalls only, so we will be back in town on Thursday.

Sadly, without a market in Wincanton, and with so many of the high street shops there closed due to lockdown, it isn't currently feasible to come to our Friday pitch on the market place, but WE WILL BE BACK ONE DAY!
(In the meantime, if there are enough of you Wincanton Turophiles craving the curds, let me know and I will look at making a delivery run your way)

In better news: GORGONZOLA IS BACK ON THE COUNTER! And to make up for the shortages over Christmas which left many local cheeseboards bereft of the goo, there will be a special discount for friends of Susie (just blow her a kiss when you get to the head of the queue so we know you're in 'The Club' 😂).

I've come around the corner at the top of the Hill

I've come around the corner at the top of the Hill many times this Christmas, or looked up at the coloured string of lights when closing Susie's hatch at the end of the day. It always brings a smile to my face. Such a lovely, simple tribute to a truly lovely man.
Thanks to @shaftesburychamber and everyone involved in making sure our town kept it's festive spirit through this strangest of times.
