Back on the Market Place in #wincanton this mornin

Back on the Market Place in #wincanton this morning - definitely a bit less damp than last week! Which is a good thing, as the counter is full to bursting with a couple of new Swiss cheeses to try... #thetruckletruck #cheeseydoesit

C'est Bon (it really is) is a luxuriously gooey little number. The gently washed rind gives a slightly funky, silage-y hint to the milky, lactic ooze. One to savour quickly before it escapes!

Aarewasser is also washed - it takes it's name from the Aare River, which supplies the water used to bathe it - but has a firm, but still supple texture. With a distinctly agricultural tang that lingers beautifully, it's quite unique.

#thisjustin A new cheddar in the counter today: Hafod is made by the Holden family in Llangybi (Lampeter). It's a cracking cheese, full of buttery, fruity and earthy flavours, and the classically dense texture of traditional cheddars.
