IMPORTANT
NOTICE

Tuesday 6th February

The latest news from the Kirkham's dairy is that they are once more producing cheese - fantastic news!

60 batches were tested by the FSA and no traces of the Shiga Toxin producing E-Coli were found. The FSA is still working to trace the source of the outbreak, but we are looking forward to being able to stock this fabulous cheese again as soon as possible.

Monday 1st January

Following a recent update from Graham Kirkham, we understand that, whilst initial test results have returned a negative result for the Shiga Toxin producing e coli, the recall is still continuing, with more test results due over the next few days.

If you brought Kirkham's Lancashire from The Truckle Truck between 1st October and 24th December, please keep it wrapped and stored separately in the fridge, then return it to us at the next market (dates below) for a full refund.

Further guidance is available on the Food Standards Agency website.

We have just been made aware that Kirkham's Lancashire and the Food Standards Agency have issued a recall for Kirkham's Lancashire cheese. This is a precautionary measure at this time, but until we know more please follow the official guidance; do not eat the cheese, keep it securely wrapped and away from other foodstuffs in the fridge.

We will keep you updated as and when we find out more information.

Welcome to The Truckle Truck - a Cheesemonger on wheels selling nothing but the best cheeses, biscuits and accompaniments.

Based in Shaftesbury, in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, we travel around the local area with a counter full of outstanding cheeses. Many of them are from the region, but we also enjoy some truly exceptional cheeses from further afield.

The star of the show is, of course, Susie, The Truckle Truck Herself. A 1969 Citroen HY van, specially converted to sell cheese, she's become a popular sight puttering our slow and steady way around the Vale's lanes.

If you fancy coming along to the counter to try some cheesey goodness, check out our calendar for details of upcoming markets and festivals.
